LeoVegas has launched its proprietary sportsbook Tiger in the UK across three brands: BetMGM, LeoVegas and BetUK. The UK is the fourth market for the platform following Denmark, Brazil and Sweden.
Tiger is built on Tipico US technology, which LeoVegas acquired in 2024. The deal cut development time and brought ready management and trading teams. Parent company MGM Resorts International has said the platform will be deployed across all of the group's international markets except the BetMGM joint venture with Entain in the US.
The platform offers enhanced odds, partial cashout and a flex combi product for flexible accumulator bets. Adrian Vella, chief product and technology officer at LeoVegas Group, said each launch has helped refine the product and strengthen competitive positioning.
James Derbyshire, sports director for LeoVegas Group in the UK and Ireland, called the launch a major milestone for the group. The UK is one of the most competitive iGaming markets in the world.
Tiger first went live in Denmark over a year ago. Integration has taken longer than expected; analysts had anticipated faster rollout. In July last year Vella spoke of a phased deployment that ensures smooth transition, testing and regulatory compliance. The proprietary platform gives LeoVegas control over its technology stack and speeds entry into new markets, including Brazil.
