Lithuania's gambling market grew 16.8% in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year. Total GGR reached €153.6m against €131.5m a year earlier, the regulator LPT reported.

Remote operators accounted for roughly 78% of all sector revenue. Online gambling generated €119.9m in GGR, up 25% year-on-year. Land-based venues lost 5%, with GGR falling to €33.7m. The lottery segment posted turnover of €87.73m (+8.6%) and GGR of €38.44m (+6.2%). As of 30 June, two private companies operated the main lotteries.

Tax receipts from gambling rose 11.4% to €46.43m. Casinos and operators contributed €30.67m, lotteries €15.76m. By mid-year, 12 closed joint-stock companies held licences to organise gambling in the country.
