Philippine gaming technology provider PhilWeb posted a net profit of $769,000 in the second quarter of 2026, reversing a $266,000 loss a year earlier, as revenue climbed 96 per cent to $5.76 million. The company disclosed the results to the Philippine Stock Exchange on 11 August.
The Digital Gaming Solutions segment drove the swing, delivering $3.27 million and accounting for 57 per cent of group revenue. That segment generated no revenue in the prior-year quarter. Sequential growth was equally sharp: digital revenue rose 152 per cent quarter-on-quarter, lifting total revenue by 51 per cent. EBITDA reached $842,000, up 886 per cent year-on-year, while margin improved from 10 per cent to 15 per cent. 'The growth and margin expansion demonstrate the operating leverage of the digital segment,' said president Brian Ng.
For the first half, PhilWeb reported revenue of $9.57 million, up 63.3 per cent, and net profit of $997,000 against a $683,000 loss a year earlier. Digital contributed $4.57 million over the period, offsetting a 14 to 15 per cent decline in the venue-based business. Operating expenses rose 33.2 per cent to $8.50 million, reflecting investment in digital expansion.
PhilWeb secured PAGCOR accreditation as an affiliate and technology provider in March. During the half it signed agreements with HANN Casino Resort, FBM Philippines, Okada Manila for the OKADA PLAY platform, and Newport World Resorts for NWRPlay. In July the company announced exclusive partnerships with Pragmatic Play and Games Global. It plans to deploy AI for fraud detection, compliance and customer service.
