Light & Wonder reported second-quarter 2026 results with consolidated revenue up 2% year-on-year to $828 million. Growth came from gaming operations, the Grover product line and iGaming, all three posting double-digit gains.
Gaming segment revenue rose 5% to $554 million. Gaming operations brought in $247 million (+18%), table products $62 million (+13%). Gaming machine sales fell 4% due to fewer new casino openings and expansions; average unit price held steady. The company shipped 8,796 new units worldwide during the quarter, over 4,900 of them in North America.
The premium installed base in North America has grown for 24 consecutive quarters, adding 652 units sequentially and more than 2,550 year-on-year. Grover expanded its footprint by 277 units during the quarter.
iGaming revenue climbed 14% and AEBITDA 18% on North American growth, offsetting higher tax rates in the United Kingdom. SciPlay increased direct revenue from users as the social casino market matures.
CEO Matt Wilson pointed to sustained growth in the North American premium base and Grover's scaling. CFO Oliver Chow said the company bought back $134 million in stock during the second quarter ($156 million in the first half) and will now focus on reducing leverage below 3.0× to reach investment-grade credit rating.
