Wynn sets new monthly record for EBITDAR in Las Vegas in May

Wynn Resorts reported revenue of $1.86bn for the second quarter of 2026, up $119.1m year-on-year. The company set a monthly record for Adjusted Property EBITDAR in Las Vegas in May. Quarterly Adjusted Property EBITDAR reached $568.3m, compared to $552.4m a year earlier.

Macau properties drove the revenue increase: Wynn Palace added $113.8m and Wynn Macau contributed $7.3m. Las Vegas operations generated an additional $4.6m, while Encore Boston Harbor declined by $6.4m. CEO Craig Billings noted growth in drop and handle in Vegas, which lifted casino revenue by 5%. RevPAR rose 3% and retail lease income climbed 8%. Slot revenue and RevPAR continued to grow in July, though hold came in below normal.

Wynn confirmed a September 2027 opening for Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. Construction is progressing with room fit-out, MEP installation and hiring under way. Regional conflict has disrupted supply chains and cargo insurance, forcing the company to reroute materials and accelerate shipments while staff movement remains constrained. The project budget has increased by $600m — half of that directly linked to conflict-related costs, higher material and logistics prices, and extended timelines.

In Macau, the VIP segment generated $306m in normalised EBITDA, though unfavourable hold reduced that figure by nearly $9m. Mass drop rose 5%. Third-quarter rolling volumes and mass drop softened year-on-year during the World Cup and seasonal lulls, but drop recovered in late July as summer holidays began.
