Century Entertainment delays FY2026 results amid online gaming audit

Century Entertainment has postponed the publication of its annual results for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2026 until August. The delay stems from a technical audit of cross-platform integration being conducted by Crowe (HK) CPA Limited. The financials were originally scheduled for release on 30 June.

The auditor is examining platform architecture, data integrity, access controls and operational continuity. The process requires coordination between Crowe, Century Entertainment's IT team in Shenzhen and engineers at the technology service provider. The company described the work as the 'first comprehensive integration of cross-border technical platforms' for the new business, requiring time to align protocols and documentation standards.

The delay coincided with confirmation from Philippine regulator PAGCOR that Century Entertainment's partner World Platinum Technologies (WPT) is no longer accredited. Century Entertainment did not comment on WPT's status or clarify whether it will affect platform operations. In June the company had described WPT as a 'PAGCOR-accredited provider'.

Century Entertainment launched Phase IV operations in April through an agreement with WPT. The joint venture uses WPT's GLI-certified platform to operate through seven gaming venue operators in the Philippines. Revenue split: Century Entertainment receives 85% of net win after taxes, WPT takes 15% as a fee for deployment and payment collection. From April to June Phase IV generated at least HK$45 million ($5.8 million) in net win before taxation.

The company stated the delay is not connected to disagreements, breaches or negative financial findings. Trading in Century Entertainment shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange has been suspended since 26 June 2025 and remains frozen.
