Churchill Downs Incorporated reported record results for the second quarter of 2026. Net revenue rose 5% year-on-year to $980m, while adjusted EBITDA climbed 6% to an all-time high of $477m. Net income increased 11% to $241m.
Kentucky Derby Week drove the performance. Growth came across wagering, media rights, sponsorship, ticketing and licensing. The Live and Historical Racing segment also posted solid gains on the back of expanded historical racing machine networks in Kentucky and Virginia. Investment in new facilities brought additional revenue.
'The Kentucky Derby and our historical racing properties continue to deliver exceptional results. This confirms the strength of our asset portfolio in racing and gaming,' said CEO Bill Carstanjen. The operator plans further expansion in historical racing and continued investment in race operations.
