The 2022 Spectrum Gaming Group report at the centre of the long-running dispute between Evolution and Playtech has been unsealed as part of Evolution's lawsuit against intelligence firm Black Cube.

Playtech hired Black Cube in 2020 to investigate alleged violations by Evolution. The intelligence firm produced a report whose findings Evolution rejected. Evolution then commissioned its own report from Spectrum Gaming Group, completed in 2022 but kept confidential until now. Evolution had claimed the document cleared the company of all allegations.

Playtech on Wednesday issued a statement highlighting compliance issues mentioned in the Spectrum report. According to the document, Spectrum had 'concerns regarding the availability of Evolution's games in certain prohibited markets, the regulatory consequences of its practices, and the lack of proactive client monitoring'. The report's authors confirmed they did not consider Evolution's actions illegal.

The full 69-page document is now available to registered users of the New Jersey court system. iGaming Business has published the report publicly and announced an analytical piece breaking down the key findings.
