Win Systems has sold its gaming division, including the Gold Club electronic roulette business, to U.S.-based Primero Games.
The gaming division operates in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Panama, where it has more than 3,000 terminals installed. The unit also holds manufacturing facilities and a client base in other regions.
Win Systems CEO Eric Benchimol said combining WSG's production capacity and client base with Primero's game library and development work will speed up time to market. Executive chairman Dario Zutel called Primero the right partner for international expansion.
Primero Games supplies gaming content, online solutions, kiosks and an omnichannel platform, mostly serving the U.S. market. The acquisition adds manufacturing, finished products and long-term operator relationships in international jurisdictions. Chairman Mike Macke said the deal is part of a strategy to build a diversified global gaming company. After closing, WSG will continue serving existing clients and gain access to Primero's platform and development pipeline.
