zoom-contact-center-android — Claude skill: Zoom SDK for Android
A skill for building on the Zoom Contact Center SDK for Android: chat, video, ZVA, scheduled callback and campaigns. Useful when support lives inside a native app.
npx skills add openai/plugins --skill android -a codexWhat zoom-contact-center-android does
The skill covers the Zoom Contact Center SDK surface for Android. It starts with the ZoomCCInterface manager and four channel services: getZoomCCChatService(), getZoomCCVideoService(), getZoomCCZVAService() and getZoomCCScheduledCallbackService(). Campaigns run through the web campaign service and campaign metadata.
The guardrails are strict. Initialize the SDK in Application.onCreate and define the channel plus identifiers with ZoomCCItem. Chat, video and ZVA take an entryId; scheduled callback and campaign mode take an apiKey. Release services on teardown. Skip that and you leak — worth checking your teardown before chasing anything else.
Supporting files walk through the SDK lifecycle, service patterns, an Android reference map and common issues. A short RUNBOOK.md gives a five-minute preflight and debugging checklist. Two related skills cover the app and engagement context, and REST API automation.
What it helps with
- add a support chat to a native Android app
- embed a video call with an agent
- wire a ZVA channel into the client
- set up a scheduled callback flow
- handle rejoin and service lifecycle correctly
Example prompts for the agent
- show me how to initialize ZoomCCInterface in Application.onCreate
- how do I release chat services when the screen closes
- set up campaign mode and metadata for scheduled callback
