worldcup — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Pulls FIFA World Cup 2026 schedules, live match scores, and runs a prediction game with points. Useful for tracking fixtures and placing bets directly in chat.
npx skills add Starchild-ai-agent/official-skills --skill worldcup -a claude-codeWhat worldcup does
The skill retrieves World Cup 2026 tournament information by executing Python functions from core.skill_tools.worldcup inside Bash. Your agent parses the resulting JSON data to report upcoming fixtures or live game updates. All match schedules use UTC.
A built-in prediction game lets users wager virtual points on fixtures. Wagers range from 10 to 10000 points in multiples of 10 for match outcomes, exact scorelines, or team goals. Cancelling an unsettled pick returns the wagered points immediately.
Authentication happens automatically using a container JWT, so you do not need an external API key. Without the core.skill_tools.worldcup module in your environment, the bash commands will fail.
What it helps with
- check live scores and scheduled fixtures for World Cup 2026
- stake points on match outcomes or exact scorelines
- cancel an unsettled prediction to reclaim points
- inspect predictor rankings sorted by points or accuracy
Example prompts for the agent
- Show me the World Cup matches scheduled for today.
- Wager 100 points on a home win for match 42.
- Check my current prediction stats and point balance.
