sumsub-integrate-msdk — Claude Code skill: KYC in iOS and Android apps
Walks an agent through adding Sumsub Mobile SDK to a native iOS or Android app, from dependency install to launching the verification screen.
npx skills add sumsub/agent-skills --skill sumsub-integrate-msdk -a claude-codeWhat sumsub-integrate-msdk does
The skill drives the integration of IdensicMobileSDK (main class SNSMobileSDK) into an app you already have. It opens with three questions: which screen should start the flow, whether the app can already fetch a Sumsub access token from your backend, and whether you want add-ons such as NFC, VideoIdent, EID or Fisherman. Then it scans the project and picks a platform — iOS from .xcodeproj, Podfile or Package.swift, Android from build.gradle[.kts] and AndroidManifest.xml.
From there the work runs along branches: CocoaPods or SPM for iOS, Gradle dependencies for Android, permissions and capabilities, the integration file, wiring it into the target, and finally the launch — from a UIKit ViewController or a SwiftUI view on iOS, from an Activity, Fragment or Composable on Android. Every stage sits in its own file and points to the next one, so the agent reads only what your project needs.
A monorepo holding both platforms stops the skill: it reports both and asks you to choose, since one run covers one platform. React Native and Flutter wrappers are out of scope. App Token and secret key never enter the picture — token signing belongs on the server, and the app only needs a way to request one. With no backend ready yet, the agent drops in a placeholder.
What it helps with
- add Sumsub Mobile SDK to a Swift or Kotlin project
- put a verification screen into an existing ViewController or Activity
- set up permissions and capabilities for a KYC flow
- refresh the access token when verification starts
- enable the NFC module for reading a biometric passport chip
Example prompts for the agent
- Add Sumsub KYC to my iPhone app, open it from the profile screen
- Show the Sumsub verification screen from this Activity
- Wire IdensicMobileSDK into my Android project and launch it from a Composable

Does the skill support React Native or Flutter?
No — it targets native iOS and Android. Web integration has its own skill, sumsub-integrate-websdk, and backend token signing is covered by sumsub-api-generic.
