sumsub-integrate-id-connect — Claude Code skill
Walks your agent through the whole Sumsub ID Connect integration: sign-in button, code-to-token exchange, user consent and applicant creation in your workspace.
npx skills add sumsub/agent-skills --skill sumsub-integrate-id-connect -a claude-codeWhat sumsub-integrate-id-connect does
The skill covers the OIDC-based “Verify with Sumsub ID” flow. A user signs in on Sumsub's side, approves sharing, and your app ends up with a signed token carrying verified claims such as age, name, nationality, email and country of residence.
Inside are a preconditions checklist, a scripts/preflight.sh script for automated validation, and a stage-by-stage recipe: the frontend button with a PKCE authorize redirect, the backend code → access_token exchange using client_secret_basic, share-token minting, the partner-consent shareLink branch, and applicant materialisation through /resources/api/reusableIdentity/reuse. Order matters here. The skill insists that Sumsub-side setup is confirmed and preflight exits clean before any code gets written; ask for a demo too early and the agent will explain what is still missing.
You need a sandbox App Token and secret pair from the Sumsub cockpit, plus ID Connect switched on for your workspace. That switch is a support action, not a self-serve toggle. Preflight checks for the sbx: prefix and fails on a production token. OIDC client registration and sharing-partner setup also live only in the dashboard UI. For the plain WebSDK widget, reach for sumsub-integrate-websdk instead.
What it helps with
- wire a “Verify with Sumsub ID” button into an app
- exchange the OIDC code for an access_token on the backend
- mint a share token and route the user through the consent screen
- create an applicant in your workspace from already-verified claims
- validate the environment before writing integration code
Example prompts for the agent
- Integrate Sumsub ID Connect: add the “Verify with Sumsub ID” button and the code-to-token exchange on the backend
- Check the preconditions and run
scripts/preflight.shbefore writing any code - The user didn't approve sharing — walk them through the shareLink and retry the share-token minting
