study-habits — Claude Code skill: spaced repetition study tracker
A skill that logs your study sessions, suggests techniques for the goal at hand, and schedules reviews before you forget.
npx skills add jackjin1997/ClawForge --skill study-habits -a claude-codeWhat study-habits does
This skill turns the agent into a study tracker. It records the topic, the length of a session and how confident you felt about the material. From that history it works out when to bring a topic back: a day later, then three days, then a week. The intervals aim at the point where recall starts to slip.
It also picks techniques. Memorising facts calls for self-testing without notes; understanding a concept calls for explaining it aloud in plain words; practising a skill calls for mixing problem types inside one session. There is an exam mode too. Tell it how many days you have left and it spreads the chapters across the available time, folds in the review cycles and marks the topics most likely to be skipped.
Your session history, notes and ratings stay on your own machine. They live in the skill's files, so moving the project to another computer means moving those files as well.
What it helps with
- log a study session with topic, duration and confidence rating
- get a review schedule built on the forgetting curve
- pick a technique for memorising, understanding or practising a skill
- spread chapters across the days left before an exam
- see time invested per subject and retention trends
Example prompts for the agent
- Start a 50-minute study session on photosynthesis
- I just finished Chapter 3, felt confident
- When should I review calculus next?
