query-token-audit — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Scans token smart contracts for scams, honeypots, and hidden transaction taxes via Binance Web3 API before you swap.
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub --skill query-token-audit -a claude-codeWhat query-token-audit does
The skill sends an audit call to the Binance Web3 Security Audit endpoint to evaluate contract risks before trade execution. It detects honeypot logic where users can buy but cannot sell, fake token clones, and dangerous ownership privileges.
Under the hood, it executes a POST request containing the target chain identifier, contract address, and a generated UUID v4 string. Supported networks include Ethereum (1), BSC (56), Base (8453), and Solana (CT_501). The response supplies a numeric risk score from 1 to 5, contract code verification status, and tax rates, treating any tax over 10% as critical.
Returned data is valid only when hasResult and isSupported are both true. The check represents a single point-in-time snapshot, meaning a low risk score cannot prevent developers from removing liquidity later.
What it helps with
- verify smart contracts for honeypot traps before swapping
- detect excessive buy or sell taxes on tokens
- inspect contracts for dangerous ownership control functions
- evaluate token risk scores across Ethereum, BSC, Base, and Solana
Example prompts for the agent
- Check token 0x55d398326f99059ff775485246999027b3197955 on BSC for honeypot risks and sell taxes
- Is this Base network contract safe to swap right now?
- Audit this Solana token address before I trade
