query-token-info — Claude Code skill: token data on demand
A skill that lets your agent look up tokens and pull metadata, live market numbers or candles without leaving the chat. Handy for price checks and contract lookups.
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub --skill query-token-info -a claude-codeWhat query-token-info does
Four read-only endpoints sit behind a single CLI, and the agent picks a subcommand. search finds tokens by keyword, symbol or contract address. meta returns static details: name, symbol, logo, social links, creator and official website. dynamic gives live market figures such as price, 24h change, volume, holder count and liquidity. kline supplies OHLCV candles for chart work.
Every call follows the same shape: node <skill-dir>/scripts/cli.mjs <command> '<json_params>'. Chains covered are Ethereum (1), BSC (56), Base (8453) and Solana (CT_501). Only keyword is required for search; meta and dynamic need chainId plus contractAddress, and kline also wants interval.
A few quirks bite if you skip them. Market numbers arrive as strings, so convert before doing math. Candles come back as a 2D array [open, high, low, close, volume, timestamp_ms, count] rather than JSON objects. The icon field holds a relative path — prefix it with https://bin.bnbstatic.com to get a working URL. Pass both limit and from and limit wins.
What it helps with
- find a token by symbol or contract address
- check price and 24h trading volume
- see who created a token and where its socials are
- pull candlestick data for technical analysis
- inspect holder count and liquidity
Example prompts for the agent
- Search for a token by keyword on BSC
- Show me the metadata for this contract address on Ethereum
- Get
