binance — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
This skill lets an agent use binance-cli for Binance Spot, USD-S Futures, and Convert. Authentication is required.
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub --skill binance -a claude-codeWhat binance does
The skill gives an agent a way to use Binance through binance-cli for Spot, USD-S Futures, and Convert. It also includes commands for areas such as Wallet, Staking, and Margin Trading. For an endpoint without a listed helper, it provides binance-cli request.
Install binance-cli and configure authentication using references/auth.md before running commands. The installer runs through curl and sh, and binance-cli --version checks the installed version. A production transaction requires the user to type CONFIRM first.
The skill supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode. Add --profile <name> to select a profile; authenticated endpoints also accept --recvWindow <ms>. Timestamps use Unix milliseconds.
What it helps with
- check Binance Spot data through the CLI
- prepare a Convert operation through an agent
- access USD-S Futures from a project
- send a request to an endpoint without a listed helper
Example prompts for the agent
- Show me my Spot data using Binance CLI.
- Prepare a Convert operation for this amount.
- Use
binance-cli requestto call this endpoint and show me the response.

## Notes
- ⚠️ **Prod transactions** — always ask user to type `CONFIRM` before executing.
- Use `--help` to get the list of commands and parameters.
- Use the output from both stdout and stderr.
- Append `--profile <name>` to any command to use a non-active profile.
- All authenticated endpoints accept optional `--recvWindow <ms>` (max 60 000).
- Timestamps (`startTime`, `endTime`) are Unix ms.
- For endpoints not listed in the skill, use `binance-cli request (GET|POST|PUT...) <url> [--signed]`. Any Parameters can be added to the request (e.g: `--param1 value --param2 value`).
