pump-analyzer-solana — Claude Code skill: Pump.fun token monitoring
A static front end for watching Pump.fun token launches on Solana: a WebSocket feed, price and volume charts, and alerts on your own criteria.
npx skills add reason-machines/trending-skills --skill pump-analyzer-solana -a claude-codeWhat pump-analyzer-solana does
This skill walks through building a Pump.fun token dashboard on Solana. Everything is plain HTML/CSS/JS with no bundler: index.html, css/style.css, and the modules js/main.js, js/websocket.js, js/wallet.js, js/alerts.js, js/charts.js. The live feed comes from a WebSocket at wss://pumpportal.fun/api/data, with separate messages for new token launches and for trades.
A create event carries the name, symbol, mint address, image, initial buy in SOL and market cap. Trade events update metrics for one mint. Token cards get prepended to the feed with a short animation, and the list is capped at 50 cards, so old entries drop off on their own. Wallet connection is non-custodial and the adapter covers Phantom and Solflare.
Getting it running takes a git clone, then open index.html or any static server such as python3 -m http.server 8080. No npm, no dependencies. The catch is the browser has to hold a WebSocket open to pumpportal.fun — a corporate proxy or a block on third-party sockets kills the stream and the feed just stays empty. Worth checking your network before you build anything on top.
What it helps with
- subscribe to new Pump.fun token launches in real time
- render a token card with market cap and initial buy
- connect a Solana wallet without handing over private keys
- set custom alert criteria on trade events
- chart price and volume for a single mint
Example prompts for the agent
