npx skills add phuryn/pm-skills --skill product-vision -a claude-codeWhat product-vision does
product-vision generates multiple vision options by analyzing the core problem and envisioning an ideal future state. It requests information about your company and product, then produces 3–5 vision variations and recommends the strongest one with reasoning. Each variant is tested against three criteria: does it inspire, is it realistic given resources and market, does it create emotional connection.
The output is a single memorable sentence that teams can own. The skill considers perspectives of customers, employees, and investors while avoiding jargon and balancing ambition with credibility. Since vision evolves with strategy, you return to this skill whenever market or direction shifts.
What it helps with
- formulate a product vision that motivates your team
- align different groups around a shared north star
- refine vision when market or strategy changes
- craft a memorable vision in one sentence
- ensure vision is both realistic and inspiring

What does product-vision do?
The skill develops vision options by analyzing your core problem and imagining an ideal future. You get multiple variants and a recommendation with reasoning about how each vision aligns your team and market opportunity.
How is vision different from strategy?
Vision answers 'How do we inspire people?' and 'What are we aspiring to achieve?' Strategy is the operational plan to get there. Vision is emotional and long-term; strategy is concrete and tactical.
