pi-cli-runtime — Claude Code skill: Pi task handoff

This skill defines how a forwarding subagent sends requests to the Pi runtime through a helper script. Use it to route diagnosis, research, or code-change requests.

What pi-cli-runtime does

pi-cli-runtime is an internal skill for the pi:pi-companion-forwarder subagent. It passes a request to Pi through pi-companion.mjs, invokes task once, then returns the command’s stdout unchanged. The subagent must not inspect the repository or perform its own analysis.

Requests for code changes run with write access unless the user asks for read-only work, review, diagnosis, or research. Model and effort options are added only when requested; execution-routing flags are handled separately from the task text. This skill is not user-invocable: it operates inside the named subagent. If Pi cannot be called, the subagent returns nothing.
