partner-affiliate — Claude Code skill: partner programs
Walks an agent through designing an affiliate or partner program: tiers, commissions, payouts. Useful before you launch one.
npx skills add chadboyda/agent-gtm-skills --skill partner-affiliate -a claude-codeWhat partner-affiliate does
The skill guides an agent through partner ecosystem design, from recruiting the first partners to growing channel revenue. It contrasts the classic reseller arrangement with a co-creation model, where a partner extends the product for its own vertical.
The backbone is a three-tier framework. A referral partner earns a cut of first-year revenue from customers they bring in; an integration partner gets a share of joint revenue plus a co-marketing budget; a solution partner takes a larger share and gets a say in the roadmap. Each tier lists requirements, support, expected deal volume and payout timing. A separate table maps commission structure to your revenue model — subscription, annual contract, usage-based.
Before designing anything, the skill asks for context: what the product does, your current GTM motion, who buys it, which tools sit alongside it, and what headcount you can put behind partners. Skip that and the agent designs blind, so have the answers ready. Clawback terms and deal protection come later in the text.
What it helps with
- choose between a reseller model and a co-creation ecosystem
- lay out three partner tiers with requirements and support
- match commission structure to the product's revenue model
- set payout timing and clawback terms for churned customers
- collect product and GTM context before designing the program
Example prompts for the agent
- Design a three-tier partner program for our subscription SaaS
- What commission should integration partners get on usage-based revenue?
- Write a clawback policy for churned customers

What does partner-affiliate do?
It guides an agent through affiliate and partner program design: partner tiers, commissions, support, payout timing. It works from context about your product and GTM motion.
What context does the skill need?
A product description and primary use case, your GTM motion, customer profile, integration landscape, revenue model, and the headcount you can dedicate to partners. Without them the design work is guesswork.
