What mgnify-skill does

The skill calls the MGnify API and returns concise Markdown summaries by default. It covers studies, samples, and biomes; narrow a request by study accession, sample accession, or biome. Ask for raw JSON when you need machine-readable output.

All calls go through scripts/rest_request.py. It requires Python and access to the MGnify API, with no additional runtime dependencies. Install it if you regularly inspect this data from Codex; for a one-off lookup, a direct API request may be enough.
