What financial-market-analysis does

Give it a ticker or a company name and the skill resolves the official name, fetches pricing and performance metrics from Yahoo Finance, then turns the news flow into a short summary. Google Serper steps in as a fallback when the usual sources come up short. What comes back is a structured report: trends, support levels, financial health indicators and an investment rating grounded in technical data and market sentiment.

Every report gets written to your Firebase project, so past analyses pile up and you can track how a company's picture changes. Two MCP servers have to be configured first: lf-financial-analysis, which runs through uvx mcp-proxy with an x-api-key header, and firebase, launched with npx @modelcontextprotocol/server-firebase.

CRAFTED_API_KEY is not optional — the data proxy will not connect without it. Skip the Firebase server and reports stop being saved. Analysis starts from the /market slash command with the ticker or company name in quotes.
