filmkit-fujifilm-camera — Claude Code skill: Fujifilm presets
A skill covering FilmKit, the browser preset manager and RAW converter for Fujifilm X-series bodies over WebUSB and PTP.

FilmKit runs in the browser with nothing to install. It talks to a Fujifilm X-series camera over WebUSB using PTP, the protocol behind Fujifilm X RAW STUDIO, and lets the camera's own processor turn RAW into JPEG. This skill hands the agent the details of that stack: preset property codes, PTP packet layout, profile handling.
It covers reading and writing custom film simulation presets on the camera itself, in slots 0xD18E–0xD1A5 through GetDevicePropValue and SetDevicePropValue. Presets can live in a local library and move between camera and storage by drag and drop. RAF files go to the camera and full-quality JPEGs come back. Drop a RAF in and the skill works out which preset shot it. Presets travel as files, links or pasted text.
You need a Chromium browser — Chrome, Edge or Brave — on desktop or Android, since WebUSB lives there. The camera connects over USB. On Linux with Chrome in Flatpak, add a udev rule for idVendor 04cb in /etc/udev/rules.d/99-fujifilm.rules, then reload with sudo udevadm control --reload-rules && sudo udevadm trigger. Skip that and the browser never sees the camera.
What it helps with
- read and rewrite film simulation presets on the camera
- keep a local preset library and drag presets between camera and storage
- send a RAF file to the camera and pull back a full-quality JPEG
- identify which preset shot a given RAF file
- move presets as a file, a link or pasted text
Example prompts for the agent
- Connect to my Fujifilm camera over WebUSB and list the current presets
- Copy a preset from the local library into a camera slot
- Send
shot.RAFto the camera and fetch the converted JPEG
