What elite-powerpoint-designer does

The skill reads your markdown and decides what each block becomes: a heading turns into a title slide, a quote gets a large quote layout, a table of numbers becomes a chart, and a metrics block becomes a KPI dashboard. It then picks one of five brand styles — Tech Keynote, Corporate Professional, Creative Bold, Financial Elite or Startup Pitch. The style carries the colors, fonts, sizes and transitions, so the deck holds together instead of looking like unrelated slides.

Three scripts do the work. scripts/analyze_content.py weighs content type, audience and tone, then selects a style or asks you. scripts/validate_consistency.py checks the finished file: no more than two font families, colors only from the palette, matching margins, images at 1920x1080 or better. Slide assembly runs on Office-PowerPoint-MCP-Server templates, so that MCP server has to be connected first — without it there are no templates to pull from. Worth checking your config before the first run.

Animation stays on a leash: at most three moving elements per slide, one or two transition types across the deck, durations between 0.3 and 0.8 seconds depending on the style. Shadows and gradient overlays are applied in bulk to every text box and image.
