What crypto-trading-bots does

The skill wires a reference base into your agent. Three files do the work: references/patterns.md covers how these systems should be built, references/sharp_edges.md lists the failures and why they happen, and references/validations.md holds the strict rules for checking your input. The agent is told to treat these files as the source of truth instead of improvising.

In practice you describe what you're building, the agent consults the matching file and answers from it. If your request contradicts the references, the skill instructs the agent to correct you politely. That makes it useful for reviewing someone else's bot or sketching the layout of a sniper, an arbitrage loop, a Telegram trading bot or a copy-trading setup.

Install takes one command via npx skills add, and the skill supports Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode. The file lands in the platform's skills directory, for example ~/.claude/skills/crypto-trading-bots/SKILL.md. Licensed Apache-2.0, so you can carry it into your own projects.

What it helps with

  • sketch the architecture of a DEX sniping bot
  • pick an arbitrage approach across venues
  • explain why a bot bleeds money to MEV
  • review trading bot code against known failure modes
  • design anti-rug checks into a token sniper

Example prompts for the agent

  • Help me design a DEX sniping bot — where do I start and what breaks first?
  • Review my arbitrage bot against references/sharp_edges.md and tell me where it fails
  • Check this trading bot code against references/validations.md

## Reference System Usage

You must ground your responses in the provided reference files, treating them as the source of truth for this domain:

* **For Creation:** Always consult **`references/patterns.md`**. This file dictates *how* things should be built. Ignore generic approaches if a specific pattern exists here.
* **For Diagnosis:** Always consult **`references/sharp_edges.md`**. This file lists the critical failures and "why" they happen. Use it to explain risks to the user.
* **For Review:** Always consult **`references/validations.md`**. This contains the strict rules and constraints. Use it to validate user inputs objectively.

**Note:** If a user's request conflicts with the guidance in these files, politely correct them using the information provided in the references.
