brand-storytelling — Claude Code skill: brand narrative and pitch
A skill that helps you build a brand story: positioning, pitch, messaging. Useful when the company talks about itself and only a feature list sticks.
npx skills add pedronauck/skills --skill brand-storytelling -a claude-codeWhat brand-storytelling does
The skill runs a conversation about your brand in stages. First it asks who is listening and what they should do afterwards. Then it helps you locate the core: the change or insight the brand revolves around. Next comes structure, followed by phrases, metaphors and concrete moments that other people can repeat on their own.
Its guidance draws on product leaders and storytelling specialists. The story comes before the product. The customer is the hero, and the founder hands over the tool rather than taking the stage. The skill also names the usual failures it will point out: opening with who you are, listing features instead of a shift, a vision with nothing at stake. Expect questions rather than a finished draft.
The full set of interview observations sits in references/guest-insights.md, which the skill opens on request. Runs in Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode.
What it helps with
- Write company positioning that isn't a feature list
- Open a pitch with the listener's problem
- Coin a phrase people will repeat at dinner
- Check whether the customer or the founder is the hero
- Pin down the single moment of change behind the story
Example prompts for the agent
- Help me shape a brand story for investors, the product is a warehouse service
- Rework our pitch: it opens with who we are, I want to start from the customer's problem
- Build a messaging framework for the landing page, with the customer as the hero

What does brand-storytelling do?
It walks you through a brand story: audience and context, the core idea, then structure and phrasing that sticks.
How is it different from asking an agent to write copy?
It interviews you and flags mistakes such as starting with the company or listing features. You don't get a draft until the audience and the turning point are clear.
