comprehensive-review — Claude Code plugin: code analysis from three
A Claude plugin that reviews your code from three angles at once: architecture, security and development practices. Useful before merging a large branch.
/plugin marketplace add wshobson/agents
/plugin install comprehensive-review@claude-code-workflowsWhat comprehensive-review does
The plugin runs your code through several perspectives. One pass looks at architecture, another at security, a third at how well the code follows accepted practices. You get three reports instead of one opinion, and the disagreements between them are often the part worth reading.
Install it from the wshobson/agents marketplace with two commands. No API keys or external services are involved: the analysis runs on Claude itself. The author is Seth Hobson and the license is MIT, so you can edit the plugin for your own needs.
One catch: the plugin lists Claude, Codex and Cursor as supported platforms, but the marketplace install commands are documented for Claude only. On Codex or Cursor you will have to work out the setup yourself, so check how the plugin connects in your environment before committing to it.
What it helps with
- check architecture before a large refactor
- find security holes before release
- compare code against team practices
- get a second opinion on a contested pull request
- make sense of inherited code you did not write
Example prompts for the agent
- review this module for architecture, security and best practices
- run comprehensive-review on the changes in the current branch
- analyze
src/api/from three perspectives and show me where they disagree
