What gesture-review does

The plugin connects pull request reviews to a live webcam stream. It relies on MediaPipe to track hand gestures in real time. Showing a thumbs-up gesture approves the pull request, while a thumbs-down gesture rejects it.

You need a working camera with video access enabled on your machine. The workflow runs hands-free. You do not need keyboard shortcuts or mouse clicks to submit review decisions.

Install this if you want touchless pull request approvals. Without a webcam, skip this plugin.

What it helps with

  • approve pull requests using a thumbs-up gesture
  • reject incoming changes with a thumbs-down sign
  • review GitHub pull requests hands-free
  • track hand motions through a live camera feed via MediaPipe

Example prompts for the agent

  • Enable gesture-review for the active PR
  • Review this PR hands-free using my webcam
