The plugin covers three related jobs: reducing technical debt, updating dependencies and automating refactoring. It runs as a set of workflows inside Claude, Claude and Cursor, so you point it at your own repository instead of moving code into a separate service.
Installation goes through the marketplace: add the wshobson/agents repository first, then install the plugin from the claude-code-workflows set. It ships under MIT, so you can read and edit the code.
Refactoring and dependency bumps rewrite files in your project, so run them on a clean branch with passing tests — otherwise there is nothing to roll back to. That alone is a reason to commit your current state first.
