ui-ux-suite — Claude Code MCP server: audit and install
Audits a UI project across 12 dimensions and ties findings to files, lines, measured values, and fixes. Useful for accessibility and design checks.
Open on GitHubWhat ui-ux-suite does
ui-ux-suite scans CSS, JSX, HTML, and Tailwind classes, then rates the project across 12 dimensions using WCAG 2.2 and APCA. A located finding includes the file, line, selector, measured value, and a concrete before-and-after change. Project-level issues are reported separately when no single line can represent them.
The MCP server exposes 16 tools and 14 skills to an agent. Add it to Claude Code or Codex with npx -y ui-ux-suite --mcp; other supported editors use the same command in their MCP configuration. It inspects the project and does not edit source files.
The dev-dependency installation requires Node 18 or newer. No API key is needed, and the results stay on the local machine.
What it helps with
- check text contrast against WCAG 2.2
- locate a failing selector and source line
- score a project across 12 design dimensions
- export an audit as Markdown, JSON, HTML, or SARIF
- fail CI after a score drop or new finding
Example prompts for the agent
- Audit this project’s interface and show each issue with its file and line.
- Review the UI for accessibility, measure contrast, and suggest exact replacement values.
- Create a SARIF audit report for GitHub code scanning.
