Pingfyr — Claude Code MCP server: reminders and setup

Pingfyr lets an AI agent schedule and manage reminders delivered by email, webhooks, chat services, or Google Calendar. Use it to send one-off or recurring notifications.

What Pingfyr does

The MCP server gives an agent tools to create reminders, list them, edit pending ones, and cancel them. Delivery options include email, webhooks, Slack, Discord, Telegram, OpenClaw, and Google Calendar. Recurrence can be daily, weekly, monthly, or based on a custom cron schedule.

Claude Code can connect to Pingfyr over HTTP with an API key. A local setup is also available and needs Node.js 18+, with the key supplied through PINGFYR_API_KEY. Google Calendar delivery requires a Starter+ plan and a connected Google account. Custom recurrence needs a cron_expression; the scheduled time must be in the future.

What it helps with

  • schedule a reminder for email or a chat channel
  • send a recurring webhook to wake an agent
  • retrieve pending reminders and change their timing
  • cancel a reminder before it fires

Example prompts for the agent

  • Create a weekly Slack reminder for the team sync.
  • Set up a daily webhook to check for new orders.
  • List pending reminders and move the one for the deployment.
