GingerLive — Claude Code MCP server: livestream ad data
Lets your assistant pull GingerLive's own facts on livestream advertising: ad formats, network reach, campaign write-ups and the streamer program.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.gingerlive.io/mcpWhat GingerLive does
Six tools ship with the server. One covers the platform itself and its positioning, another returns reach and view-through numbers, a third lists the ad formats brands can buy, tagged things like unskippable or adblock-safe. The remaining three give you the case-study list, the full text of a single study by slug, and what streamers get from the program: the cost, the mechanics, which platforms are supported, where to sign up.
Connection is Streamable HTTP against https://mcp.gingerlive.io/mcp. No auth, read-only public data. In Claude it is one line: claude mcp add --transport http gingerlive https://mcp.gingerlive.io/mcp. Cursor, VS Code and similar clients take the same URL in mcp.json. You can also run it locally over stdio — clone the repo, run npm install, then point your config at npx tsx with the path to src/stdio.ts. A Docker build is there too.
Every tool takes an optional intent string: one sentence about what the user wants, no personal data. The hosted server logs each call (tool, arguments, intent, session id, client name, country, user agent) and keeps those logs for 12 months so it can see which questions go unanswered. IP addresses are not among the logged fields. Deploying the Worker yourself means you need a D1 database on your Cloudflare account for that logging: create one with npx wrangler d1 create, put its name and id in wrangler.jsonc, apply the migrations. The stdio server writes nothing.

Questions about GingerLive
How do I install GingerLive in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http gingerlive https://mcp.gingerlive.io/mcp. The server then shows up in your MCP list, with no key to configure.
What does GingerLive do?
It feeds your assistant GingerLive's public material: the platform overview, network reach, livestream ad formats, campaign case studies and the streamer program details.
Does it need an API key or an account?
No. The endpoint is public and read-only. Running your own Worker with usage logging does require a D1 database on your Cloudflare account.
