agent-memory · veritap-dev — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Keeps agent context alive across sessions and environments by indexing data to an EVM wallet key. Free 256KB tier with no account setup.
claude mcp add --transport http agent-memory https://locker.veritap.dev/mcp/memoryWhat agent-memory does
Standard agent sessions lose accumulated context whenever their process exits. This MCP server ties stored data directly to an EVM wallet address. A replacement process needs only the matching private key to retrieve the exact bytes without setting up a third-party account.
Interaction runs through memory_save and memory_load calls against specific slot names. Request authorization occurs locally using EIP-191 signatures, keeping secrets strictly inside local environment variables. The architecture also provides optional end-to-end ciphertext checks via require_e2e and a mailbox slot that accepts external payloads paid in USDC on Base.
The free allowance covers 256KB of data. Larger storage draws from prepaid credit at $0.50 per gigabyte per month while keeping the latest three revisions. Without passing a valid key in WALLET_KEY, local request signing fails.
What it helps with
- Persist task state across terminal session restarts
- Restore context when switching development machines
- Share memory slots across multiple CLI agents
- Receive external agent messages paid through Base USDC
Example prompts for the agent
- Save the active migration plan to slot plan_v1
- Load previous execution context from slot architecture
- Inspect the locker mailbox for newly received messages

Questions about agent-memory
How to install agent-memory in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http agent-memory https://locker.veritap.dev/mcp/memory. This configures the remote HTTP endpoint in your environment.
How does authentication work in agent-memory?
The service identifies agents by EVM address instead of login tokens. Your client proves ownership by signing nonces locally via EIP-191.
What are the storage limits?
Every key gets 256KB for free without signing up. Additional capacity costs $0.50 per gigabyte per month and retains the last three versions.
