NeResume methodology

NeResume is a showcase of profiles of affiliate industry specialists. We show only people open to work, and on the salary hubs we compute the median expectation — what candidates ask for, not what employers pay.

Who gets into the database

The showcase and the sitemap carry only profiles with the status looking for work (looking_for_work). Freshness affects the order, not the inclusion: a stale profile sinks lower instead of disappearing.

The median expectation

On the salary hubs for a role we compute the median of the lower bound of candidate expectations — p50 across all profiles for that role, with the profile count N next to it. The median, not the mean: it survives a single inflated ask.

These are expectations, not employer offers and not confirmed salaries. The figure says what people are willing to start for — a point of departure for a negotiation, not a market rate.

Duplicates and sources

  • One profile often appears on several platforms — duplicates are merged and we show a single record.
  • A resume with an empty or unfilled description does not go into the index.
  • Each record states the date of the source snapshot.
