$3,600 Loss Due to Server Glitch — Support Blames User!
Rating: 1 Star I am writing this review to publicly expose a critical technical issue on Stake.com that resulted in the unfair loss of my $3,600 balance, and the platform’s complete refusal to take responsibility. What Happened:While playing an EGT slot game (20 Burning Hot), the platform completely froze and threw a direct, server-side error stating:"Sorry - something went wrong. Our team has been notified. Try refreshing your browser."Following this server freeze, the page entered an infinite refresh loop. While the UI was unresponsive and I had zero control over the site, the server executed over 1,000 phantom bets in the background, completely draining my $3,600 balance within minutes. The Support Response:I contacted live support and escalated the issue to supervisors (GordanR and Jeremiah). Instead of conducting an actual technical log investigation into the server-side crash, they issued a blanket denial under T&C 15.1, blaming the incident on "poor local internet connection or VPN issues."Why This Explanation Is Unacceptable:Official Server Error: A local Wi-Fi or VPN disconnection does NOT produce Stake's internal system error message ("Our team has been notified"). This proves a server/provider-level exception.Impossible Human Action: It is physically impossible for a player to manually click and execute over 1,000 bets in a span of a few minutes on a completely frozen, auto-refreshing screen. This was an automated software loop/hanging session caused by their system crash.Stake support marked the case as "closed" and refused to compensate my funds. I have full photographic evidence of the server error message, the chat logs where support confirmed the 1,000+ rapid bets, and my full betting archive.I am formally escalating this matter to Casino Guru and submitting a regulatory complaint to Curaçao eGaming.İ can send all the pictures and videos of the issues.Username: [dino19955]Incident Date: [25.09.2026]
