Fake Affiliate Promotions - Both Stake and Affiliate Playing the Blame Game
I recently signed up on Stake.com using an affiliate code ("obtain") promoted by a Kick streamer. The promotional banner clearly promised: "Sign up using code 'obtain', Min. Deposit $21 and Min. Wager $21 for a FREE $21 bonus."I completed my level 2 KYC, deposited the $21, and fully wagered it as instructed. When I contacted Stake's live support to claim my bonus, their agent initially confirmed the offer and told me it would be given as a $3 reload for 7 days once I completed the wager. However, after I finished wagering and reached out again, another agent outright rejected my claim, stating I was suddenly "not eligible" and told me to contact the affiliate instead. When I opened a ticket on the affiliate's Discord server to resolve this, their team completely washed their hands of the situation, stating: "We are not in control of when Stake decides a player is not eligible... we cannot do anything."This is a complete scam. Stake and their promoted affiliates are running misleading campaigns to trick new users into depositing money. Once the deposit and wager are done, they just shift the blame onto each other and refuse to credit the promised bonus. Be aware and stay away from these fake streamer promotions!Stake ID: hearthacker111Affiliate Code Used: obtain
