Been using Stake for roughly 5 years…

Been using Stake for roughly 5 years now, and I've had both great and not-so-great experiences.A few things I want to cover:Support, site reliability, bugs, bonuses, and gameplay.1. SupportResponsive and helpful support makes you feel valued as a customer. Unfortunately, I rarely feel that way with Stake.Live chat relies heavily on template responses, which makes the interaction feel very disconnected. I understand companies need policies, but professionalism shouldn't mean only being able to communicate through pre-written messages. It also seems support has very little authority. Most issues end with "We'll check with our manager/technical team", meaning you're rarely actually speaking to someone who can resolve your problem. This makes it difficult to trust the process.2. Site reliabilityStake has improved significantly compared to years ago, but there are still problems.During monthly/weekly drops, the site can become extremely laggy or difficult to reach. It's not a huge issue because it only happens occasionally, but it can be frustrating when you're trying to claim drops or codes.3. BugsEven one of the largest crypto casinos has bugs. Unfortunately, when something goes wrong, don't expect compensation unless you can prove it.I recently lost around 2/3 of my balance because of what appeared to be a UI/gameplay issue.I'd deposited a very small amount and spent 1-2 hours building it into roughly $150. I went to Dice, set a 100x multiplier with a $0.15 bet, and enabled autoplay. I always scroll down so I can only see the bet list rather than the bet controls. After a few seconds, I noticed the bet size increasing rapidly. I panicked, scrolled back up and stopped autoplay.Somehow, the game had switched itself to Martingale, meaning the bet doubled after each loss. I would never intentionally use Martingale on a 100x bet.Support refused to help and essentially blamed me. I understand that they may not be able to compensate me, but blaming the customer for something that appears to have happened through a UI error is not acceptable.4. BonusesThis includes bonus drops, giveaways, ChatRain and Kick streams.I've played on Stake for many years and I'm still Gold VIP. I'm not a high roller, but I find it strange how easily smaller players seem to be overlooked. You can grind your wager up and still receive almost nothing, while some players receive significant promotional money. I've personally never received one of these special promotions.ChatRain: The wager requirement used to be attainable. Nowadays, $3,500 wager in a single week is simply too much for me.I understand the argument that high requirements prevent rain farming, but Stake also benefits from this system. Someone can deposit $50, wager safely until they qualify, and then use that qualification to catch other players' money. With the number of players on the site and only 25 catchers per rain, the system feels increasingly difficult for normal players to benefit from.Bonus/stream codes have also gained higher wager requirements over the years without meaningful increases to the rewards, making them practically useless to low rollers.Giveaways: The lack of transparency is another issue.Stake has a long-running weekend forum giveaway. Years ago, winners were openly tipped, making it possible to see that real people had actually won.Nowadays, I rarely see or hear about winners. The system involves selecting forum pages through a random number generator, after which VIP hosts select a winner from each page. Perhaps winners are still being selected, but without visible proof, it becomes difficult for players to know whether the giveaway is actually working as intended.Overall:Stake is a massive platform with many good features. And while there are a bunch of positives, they are easily outweighed by the negatives.I hope they change and do better, but once a company reaches "giant" status, they kind of stop caring about their individual users. And for me, that's a big part of why I like playing at crypto casinos: to feel like I'm part of a community.
