PrizePicks lifts North America
Allwyn's second-quarter net revenue rose 27% year on year to €1.25 billion ($1.45 billion), carried by the January deal for a majority stake in US daily fantasy sports operator PrizePicks. Group adjusted EBITDA climbed 29% to €458 million ($531.3 million), a 36.8% margin.
North America revenue jumped from €54 million to €294 million ($341 million), with regional EBITDA of €104 million ($120.6 million). PrizePicks on its own grew 3% year on year in constant currency. CEO Robert Chvátal said the platform is being widened: players can now combine PlayerPicks and TeamPick on one line, and use prediction markets next to DFS.
Strip out PrizePicks and the higher Austrian gaming taxes and organic revenue growth was 5%, EBITDA 9%. Allwyn held its full-year 2026 guidance: revenue growth in the mid-to-high 20% range and an EBITDA margin near 37%.
Lottery slips, betting and iGaming gain
Continental Europe added 4% to €731 million ($848 million), or 6% before the Austrian tax change. The UK rose 2% to €236 million ($273.8 million), and EBITDA there jumped from €6 million to €23 million ($26.7 million) once the National Lottery technology transformation closed.
Lottery revenue fell 2% to €498 million ($577.7 million) against a strong jackpot base period. Sports betting rose 12% on the FIFA World Cup and iGaming 24%. Betano, in which Allwyn holds a minority stake, lifted revenue 26% in constant currency. Allwyn also raised its stake in online reseller Next Lotto to 64.53%, taking control.
