Olafadeke Akeju has worked in gambling, entertainment and corporate law for over 18 years. She leads WYS Solicitors as Managing Partner. Her advisory work covers regulation, licensing, compliance and corporate governance for betting and gambling businesses.

Her practice focuses on cross-border transactions across West Africa. Akeju has worked on regulatory frameworks and legislative initiatives for iGaming. She also handles data protection and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in Africa. Previously, she was Board Secretary and Legal Adviser at Lagos State Lotteries Board, and served as Special Adviser to Director General at National Lottery Regulatory Commission.
