sumsub-integrate-travel-rule — Claude Code skill: how to install
Step-by-step guidance for integrating Sumsub Travel Rule protocols. Helps crypto services configure VASP data exchanges for withdrawals and deposits.
npx skills add sumsub/agent-skills --skill sumsub-integrate-travel-rule -a claude-codeWhat sumsub-integrate-travel-rule does
This skill guides developers through three exchange scenarios: outbound withdrawals before blockchain settlement, unannounced incoming deposits, and responding to counterparties. Everything hinges on which side initiated the exchange rather than transaction direction. Counterparty identification handles lookups via /resources/vasps/- or automated wallet address attribution.
Live App Tokens cannot be used during integration tests. A real token pushes test transfers into production compliance queues of partner VASPs. You also need a Sumsub account manager to link your company to a VASP beforehand, or the API refuses every transfer call.
What it helps with
- determine whether an exchange occurs before or after on-chain settlement
- identify counterparty VASPs via name search endpoints
- resolve transfers stuck at onHold or unfinalised states
- configure responses to inbound Travel Rule requests from partner exchanges
Example prompts for the agent
- Integrate Travel Rule data exchange for user crypto withdrawals in Sumsub
- Explain why our Travel Rule transaction is stuck in onHold status
- Set up handling for incoming counterparty VASP requests
