second-brain-lint — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Audits a markdown knowledge base for broken wikilinks, contradictions, and orphan pages. Delivers a prioritized health check report with suggested fixes.
npx skills add NicholasSpisak/second-brain --skill second-brain-lint -a claude-codeWhat second-brain-lint does
The skill inspects markdown notes stored under wiki/ to pinpoint broken [[wikilink]] targets, orphaned files lacking incoming links, and conflicting statements across sources. It flags date discrepancies or diverging factual claims between concept documents and entity summaries.
It relies on Bash, Grep, Glob, Read, Write, and Edit to inspect directories such as wiki/sources/, wiki/entities/, and wiki/concepts/. The audit also verifies files against wiki/index.md to ensure index integrity and highlights mentioned subjects that lack dedicated pages.
Because the routine hardcodes paths to specific subdirectories, running it against an unorganized markdown repository will produce false errors. Once the inspection finishes, the agent asks for confirmation to apply fixes and appends an entry to wiki/log.md.
What it helps with
- find broken
[[wikilink]]references across markdown notes - detect orphan documentation files with no inbound links
- flag factual contradictions between concepts and entity summaries
- verify
wiki/index.mdconsistency against existing files - record health check results into
wiki/log.md
Example prompts for the agent
- Run a health check on my wiki and report broken links
- Audit the second brain for orphan pages and stale claims
- Check wiki/index.md for consistency and find contradictions
