reflex-docs — Claude Code skill: Reflex docs on tap
Pulls the Reflex reference into your agent's context so it writes components, State and event handlers against current docs instead of stale training data.
npx skills add reflex-dev/agent-skills --skill reflex-docs -a claude-codeWhat reflex-docs does
The skill hands the agent a map of the Reflex documentation: components, State and Vars, events, pages and routing, styling, database, assets, authentication, client storage, API routes, React wrapping and the component library. Inside is a table of links to the official pages plus a short summary of the core concepts.
Why bother? Model knowledge of Reflex drifts behind the framework. The skill tells the agent to prefer the reference over pre-trained knowledge, so it goes and checks the docs more often. It fits projects written in plain Python, since Reflex builds full-stack web apps without JavaScript.
Reach for it when you're editing .py files that import reflex, or asking about rx.State, rx.var, rx.event, rx.cond and rx.foreach. Without it the agent answers from memory, which is a good reason to double-check its API suggestions if you're on a recent Reflex release.
What it helps with
- build a page from
rx.*components without invented props - define State with base and computed vars
- wire an event handler to
on_clickoron_change - set up a route with a dynamic
[slug]segment - add SQLModel tables and write queries against them
Example prompts for the agent
- Build a Reflex page with a login form and state for errors
- Why isn't my computed var updating in Reflex?
- Wrap a React component in Reflex and show how to pass props

How do I install reflex-docs in Claude?

What does reflex-docs do?
It gives the agent links to the Reflex docs and a short summary of State, Vars, events, components, styling and database work. The agent checks that instead of relying on pre-trained knowledge.
When does the skill load?
When you work with Reflex: writing .py files that import reflex, or asking about rx.State, Vars, EventHandlers and components.
