recoup-roster-manage-artist — Claude Code skill: how to install
Manages an individual artist workspace by tracking identity, releases, and songs. Keeps roster files structured and forbids placeholder entries.
npx skills add recoupable/skills --skill recoup-roster-manage-artist -a claude-codeWhat recoup-roster-manage-artist does
The skill operates inside an individual artist directory at artists/{artist-slug}/. It relies on RECOUP.md as the identity file with frontmatter fields for artist name, slug, and ID. Subfolders store static background in context/artist.md and context/audience.md, visual guides, release master files, and track audio.
Directories start empty. Files appear only when verified material arrives. The skill strictly bans placeholder tokens and fabricated roster entries. If the filesystem is empty, the roster must be confirmed via recoup-platform-api-access rather than assumed blank.
Every update requires a git commit following the {what}: {why} format. That requirement makes git history the official audit trail for each artist.
What it helps with
- structure an artist workspace in
artists/{artist-slug}/ - document the artist profile and core audience
- store release master documents and song audio files
- log artist updates in git commits with rationale
Example prompts for the agent
- Organize the workspace folder for artist luna-sky
- Update the brand context and audience document for solar-echo
- Show what files and releases are inside artist neon-wave's folder
