number-details — Claude Code skill: 01, 02, 03 markers for layouts
A skill that adds decorative 01, 02, 03 numbers to process steps, cards and headings. Useful when a section needs visual rhythm without extra copy.
npx skills add MengTo/Skills --skill number-details -a claude-codeWhat number-details does
The skill kicks in when a section needs secondary visual structure: process steps, feature groups, cards or editorial blocks. The numbers carry no meaning. They hold rhythm and guide the eye.
Inside is a five-step workflow. Markers go in as two-digit numbers (01, 02, 03) for consistency, in predictable spots: card corners, section gutters, timeline rails, beside headings. Typography is mono or narrow uppercase at low contrast so the detail reads as architectural rather than as an accent. Spacing and alignment stay the same across every numbered element.
There are guardrails too. Decorative numbers must not compete with headings or CTAs, and you cannot mix numbering styles inside one section. If your section already has large numerals in its headings, this skill adds a second layer of digits — worth checking whether the two start fighting.
What it helps with
- number process steps without hand-written markup
- give a card section some rhythm
- place numbers in card corners
- build a timeline with two-digit labels
- align numbering across every block on a page
Example prompts for the agent
- add 01, 02, 03 numbers to the process steps in this section
- number the feature cards in the corner, monospace
- build a timeline with numbers along the rail
