What enhance-prompt does

The enhance-prompt skill takes your request and fills it in with design language and specifications. It targets design-to-code workflows, where a vague "make it look good" needs to become a concrete visual brief.

Inside there is only the skill description and its triggers (enhance prompt, design prompt, ui prompt, design vocabulary). The full upstream workflow with scripts and assets lives in a separate google-labs-code/skills bundle, installed into the active agent's skills directory. Without that bundle the skill gives you wording, not ready-made materials.

Install runs through a single npx skills add command per platform. The skill file lands at ~/.claude/skills/enhance-prompt/SKILL.md for Claude Code, or the equivalent path for other agents.

What it helps with

  • turn a vague request into design terminology
  • add UI/UX vocabulary to a prompt
  • prepare a prompt for a design-to-code pipeline
  • clarify requirements for visual output
  • invoke the skill by trigger phrase during agent planning

Example prompts for the agent

  • Invoke enhance-prompt and rewrite my dashboard description

its original assets, scripts, and references, install the upstream
bundle into your active agent's skills directory:
