What meme-factory does

The skill turns text prompts into direct image links using the public memegen.link service. Claude Code selects a fitting template from catalog options like drake, fine, or buzz, then places text into the top and bottom positions. The output renders as an image link or Markdown preview.

It includes a text encoding guide alongside a Python helper named meme_generator.py. Formatting relies on swapping spaces for underscores or dashes, while punctuation like question marks requires tilde escapes such as ~q. Missing character escapes will break the generated URL. The request also accepts URL query parameters for custom dimensions, font selection, or alternative background images.
