What landing-page-optimizer does

The skill looks at a page along three axes at once: conversion, performance and SEO. Step one audits the current page for speed, UX and conversion elements, scoring the above-the-fold area against the checklist in references/checklists.md.

From there it works through reference files. references/page-structure.md holds an eight-section layout template, and the skill flags sections that are missing or out of order. CTA copy and placement come from references/cta-optimization.md, speed and mobile patterns from references/performance.md with its Core Web Vitals targets, and meta tags, structured data and GA4 events from references/seo-and-tracking.md. It finishes on the quick-wins checklist and a prioritized A/B test queue.

The skill does not edit your code. It returns a review and a list of changes, and you apply them. So keep the page markup and your analytics within reach, or the GA4 event step stays theoretical.

What it helps with

  • find out why a landing page underperforms
  • check section order against a working template
  • rewrite CTAs and cut steps before the click
  • hit Core Web Vitals targets on mobile
  • build a prioritized A/B test queue

Example prompts for the agent

  • audit this landing page and tell me what blocks conversions
  • compare the page layout against the eight-section template
  • optimize the CTAs and place them at high-intent points

# Landing Page Optimizer

Audit and optimize a landing page across conversion, performance, and SEO.

## Contents

- `references/checklists.md` — above-the-fold and quick-wins checklists
- `references/page-structure.md` — optimal eight-section page layout
- `references/cta-optimization.md` — CTA copy, friction reduction, placement
- `references/performance.md` — image/CSS optimization, Core Web Vitals targets, mobile
- `references/seo-and-tracking.md` — meta tags, structured data, GA4 tracking, A/B tests

## Workflow

1. Audit the current page for speed, UX, and conversion elements. Score the above-the-fold area against `references/checklists.md`.
2. Validate the page layout against the eight-section template in `references/page-structure.md`; flag missing or out-of-order sections.
3. Optimize CTAs using `references/cta-optimization.md` — sharpen copy, reduce friction, and place CTAs at each high-intent point.
4. Optimize performance per `references/performance.md`; meet the Core Web Vitals targets and apply mobile patterns.
5. Apply SEO and tracking from `references/seo-and-tracking.md` — meta tags, structured data, and GA4 conversion events.
6. Run the quick-wins checklist in `references/checklists.md` and queue prioritized A/B tests.
