What human-writing does

human-writing reviews a draft for patterns such as promotional phrasing, repetitive sentence shapes, and overused connective language, then rewrites the affected passages. It can help with Markdown, technical documentation, emails, blog posts, PRDs, and other writing tasks.

Its approach draws on Wikipedia’s guide to signs of AI writing. The skill aims to retain the text’s meaning and fit its intended tone; it edits prose rather than checking factual claims. For Claude Code, install it with npx from Factory-AI/factory-plugins. It is also available for Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode.

What it helps with

  • revise formulaic wording in technical docs
  • remove promotional phrasing from an email
