google-mobile-ads-get-started — Claude Code skill
This skill guides Google Mobile Ads SDK setup for Android, iOS, or Unity projects. Use it when starting AdMob or Ad Manager integration.
npx skills add google/skills --skill google-mobile-ads-get-started -a claude-codeWhat google-mobile-ads-get-started does
The skill guides Google Mobile Ads SDK integration in an Android, iOS, or Unity application. It first identifies the project platform, then follows the relevant setup guide. The workflow adds the SDK dependency, sets the application identifier, initializes the SDK, and checks the integration.
Platform-specific guides are stored in references/android-get-started.md, references/ios-get-started.md, and references/unity-get-started.md. Once the SDK is installed, the skill asks which ad format to configure next for AdMob or Ad Manager.
Install it when an agent needs a structured starting point for mobile ads. It supports Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and Codex. It is a poor fit for projects outside Android, iOS, and Unity.
What it helps with
- connect the Google Mobile Ads SDK to an Android app
- set up the SDK in an iOS or Unity project
- add the SDK dependency and application identifier
- initialize the SDK and verify the integration
- choose an ad format after setup
Example prompts for the agent
- Integrate the Google Mobile Ads SDK into my Android project and verify the setup.
- Set up the GMA SDK for iOS, including the dependency, application identifier, and initialization.
- Help me start Ad Manager integration in a Unity project.
